Sonic was an explosive detection dog who served in Afghanistan and G20 operations, Sonic succumbed to dermatitis during service. AWAMO stepped in to assist with medical care.
AWAMO had set up a fund for Sonic to help with his medication after his discharge from the ADF. AWAMO intend to honour that pledge by using the collected monies to pay for a companion service dog for a military member with PTSD.
It is with great sadness that we report EDD Sonic passed away the morning of 21st May 2015 due to medical complications.
