Wildlife SOS (India)

Wildlife trafficking generates an estimated $8–10 billion annually, making it the world’s second-largest black-market trade after narcotics. In India, AWAMO supports Wildlife SOS by funding training programs and workshops across states including Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, and Karnataka.

These initiatives build capacity among law enforcement and frontline forest officers, equipping them to prevent poaching and protect flagship species such as tigers, leopards, and sloth bears.
