As part of its commitment to local causes, AWAMO donated $1,000 worth of purple poppy merchandise to the Kaimanawa Heritage Horse Society. This support helps protect the wild horse population near Waiouru, New Zealand, an area deeply linked to military history.

The Kaimanawa horses share lineage with the stock that supplied thousands of mounts for WWI, of which only four ever returned. Supporting these horses honours both their heritage and the region’s servicemen and women.
