The Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Military Working Dog (MWD) memorial is a bronze-cast statue and plaque located at RNZAF Base Auckland in Whenuapai. Unveiled in 2021, it honors the 50-year history and service of military working dogs and their handlers within the New Zealand Defence Force. The RNZAF Military Working Dog unit was established in 1972. These dogs are highly trained alongside Security Forces to protect critical assets and aircraft.
AWAMO funded the RNZAF MWD memorial in 2021 at Whenuapai Air Force Base.
It honours 50 years of service.
