Rachel is a civilian in the Queensland Police Service has been an enthusiastic supporter of AWAMO since meeting Nigel Allsopp the AWAMO President at QPS three years ago. Rachel has created merchandise and run social media pages for various not for profit clubs and charities for 13 years. Within these endeavours she is committed to raising awareness in the community and honouring of the role of animals in war and supporting animals that are still in service. Rachel has coordinated several large-scale poppy installations and displays in Qld over the past 10 years, including red poppies at Winton and the Afghanistan War Memorial in Brisbane and has organised the creation of several purple poppy horse coats in Queensland and South Australia, engaging communities in creative ways to raise awareness for AWAMO and demonstrate the appreciation civilians have for those that are committed to keeping us safe.
